✓Salary: £33,000 - £40,500

✓First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Mobile HGV Fitter on behalf of one of our clients
✓Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration
✓Duties and Responsibilities:
✓The role of the Mobile Plant Fitter is to carry out planned servicing, preventative maintenance and provide onsite fitter cover for a fleet of road rail specialised vehicles.
✓Due to this bespoke nature of the vehicles, specific to rail application side, training will be provided, in addition to external courses required to enter rail sites.
✓Initially for the training period this role will be depot-based Monday – Friday, once trained this will revert to a four-on, four-off cycle working/days or nights.
✓There will be ample travel involved covering various rail site across the UK, working in the depot, possible overseas supporting the road rail fleet.
✓Skills and Qualifications:
✓VM class 1 C & G 1,2,3 or equivalent qualifications.
✓Experience of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, HGV fitting/fault finding experience.
✓HGV class 2 licence.
✓The role is suited to HGV Technicians, Plant Fitters, this role would particularly suit REME VM’s.
