Security & Access Control Engineer
Description✓A well-established and successful leader in the construction and maintenance of commercial property development are currently recruiting for a Security & Access Control Engineer to join their in-house team on a full-time permanent basis.
✓Our client is keen to speak with candidates who are in the early stages of their career and profession who they can bring on and develop your skills and experience even further as the business grows, they are keen for their people to grow with it!
✓Working within a small but close-knit team, your time will be spent working between two sites located in North Lanarkshire [van provided] where you will be responsible for but not limited to:
✓* Installation, upgrade, and maintenance of the security and access control systems including CCTV, access control, intruder, intercom, and barrier systems across commercial buildings including Smart buildings.
✓* Reacting to any service calls for fire, CCTV, intruder, network/data and access control systems
✓* Promote and maintain excellent rapport with all customers
✓* Ensure all maintenance records are updated
✓Essential requirements:
✓* Served recognised apprenticeship within the Security/Access Control industry
✓* Relevant skills card
✓* Industry recognised formal qualifications
✓* Knowledge and understanding of BS7671 and BS5839
✓* Good knowledge of industry leading manufacturers
✓* Ability to fault find accurately.
✓* Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care combined with excellent communication skills
✓* Full UK Drivers Licence
