Role:
Due continued growth in the print industry my clients are now looking to recruit a skilled Senior Photocopier Walking Engineer
Built on a solid reputation of delivering a first class service within the London area we are seeking like minded engineers who offer a little finesse and excellent customer care skills
You will be carrying out repair & preventative maintenance on multi-brand MFDs / Copiers
Ongoing training will be provided to enable you to reach your full potential and giving you the skills to offer the best possible service to clients
TASKS
* Managing the team including monthly 1-1 meetings, appraisals, first port of call for absence, issues etc.
* Overseeing the escalation process and ensuring the right team member supports the call
This may be someone else in the team for example our hardware specialist.
* Software experience with the drive to learn and progress
You will have completed installations, planning meetings with clients and support post install
The ability to mentor others in the team is also key.
* Mentoring and recognising strengths within the team to bring in the right team members at the right time.
* This will include in field work also including: completing preventative maintenance and field modifications, attending and diagnosing breakdowns including liaising with customers, listening and investigating issues.
* Ordering parts through the system and closing down calls with complete & comprehensive notes.
* Managing the parts cycle times via the Preventative Maintenance visits to minimise breakdowns.
* Installing new devices including network connectivity, driver loading, personalisation settings and end user training.
* Working as a member of a close-knit team to provide efficient service delivery.
* Working collaboratively with 3rd party suppliers building relationships to enhance services
OTHER DUTIES
* Keeping up to date with technical bulletins and cascading the knowledge to the team via emails and Service Team meetings.
* Training & developing the junior team members and knowledge sharing within the team re part modifications or new fixes.

Essential skills:
Hardware experience a priority - MFD / Photocopier
Can do attitude
5 years + print experience ideally in dealing with escalations, leading small teams
