✓Toolmaker duties include -
✓Repair and maintenance of production press tools carried out in line with production requirements.
✓Modify tools as required by the business or customer requests.
✓Ensure that the allocated budgets and time frames are adhered to.
✓Record all relevant data pertaining to tooling within the Toolroom database.
✓Active continuous improvement activities to help towards achieving company objectives.
✓Updating preventative maintenance schedules.
✓Comply with company HSE guidelines
✓Toolmaker desirable skills and experience -
✓Be able to read and work from technical tool drawings.
✓Experience of working with modern day press processes [progression and transfer]
✓Be able to read and work from technical tool drawings.
✓Proactive work ethic / able to communicate well all members of staff
