Toolmaker duties include -
Repair and maintenance of production press tools carried out in line with production requirements.
Modify tools as required by the business or customer requests.
Ensure that the allocated budgets and time frames are adhered to.
Record all relevant data pertaining to tooling within the Toolroom database.
Active continuous improvement activities to help towards achieving company objectives.
Updating preventative maintenance schedules.
Comply with company HSE guidelines
Toolmaker desirable skills and experience -
Be able to read and work from technical tool drawings.
Experience of working with modern day press processes [progression and transfer]
Be able to read and work from technical tool drawings.
Proactive work ethic / able to communicate well all members of staff
