Chef Manager
Description✓Do you have a passion for food, excellent customer service and the catering industry?
✓We are recruiting for an experienced Chef Manager to inspire the catering operation at our clients' site near High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
✓Catering for a high quality café serving both the public and staff, the kitchen provides a breakfast and lunch service as well as afternoon tea
✓All food is freshly prepared using quality ingredients and produce and customer expectation is high.
✓Responsibilities include:
✓- day to day running of the site
✓- lead, manage and motivate a small team
✓- creation of menus and ensuring food is of a high standard
✓- financial responsibility and management of the budget, GP and cost control
✓- client liaison
✓Working hours are 5/7 days, 40 hours per week
✓Our ideal candidate would have
✓- proven experience as a Chef Manager or Head Chef within a fresh food kitchen
✓- exceptional culinary skills
✓- financial acumen
✓- strong admin and leadership skills
✓- excellent communication with the ability to liaise with customers and clients
✓- ability to think on your feet in a calm, rational manner
✓- genuine passion for food, ingredients and customer service
✓- a friendly and willing approach with a positive, can do attitude
