Salary: £30,000 - £32,000
The Opportunity
Our client having an amazing opportunity for a commercially minded, creative, highly organised, and efficient event professional to join their rapidly growing team as a Commercial Events & Filming Executive.
The Commercial Events and Filming Executive will work closely with the Live Events Manager on the curation, administration, and delivery of the public event programme
As well as providing support, you will also be able to take ownership of specific projects, developing and delivering them to a high standard, and manage and proactively promote film production across the venue.
Responsibilities
* Focus and deliver location sales within the film and tv industry to achieve revenue target
* Develop and maintain a commercial strategy for our Garden activities to drive ticketed events in the garden to achieve revenue target
* Oversee, maintain and develop our charity work within the community to leverage engagement for the House
* To support the Live Events Manager with the planning and delivery of the public event programme
* Together with the team, manage events including overseeing all aspects of smooth and safe delivery on the day
* To inform internal teams, clearly and proactively, of event requirements and customer preferences
* Take initiative in forming and maintaining relationships with external suppliers
* Use our ticketing systems to create events, sell tickets, store customer information, and for reporting purposes
* Keep up with the market and competitor venue activities to optimise our offer and achieve growth in market share
* Providing responsive and flexible support to other initiatives related to the business as they emerge together with the Live Events Manager
* To anticipate guests needs whenever possible to enhance quality of service and in turn enhance guest satisfaction
* To present excellent standards of courtesy, efficiency and appearance to customers and colleagues
Key Attributes
Essential
* Experience and passion for planning and delivering events
* Experience working to tight deadlines and ambitious targets
* Experience in proactive sales and reaching desired sales targets
* Organised and detail oriented, with the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and efficiency whilst multi-tasking
* A vibrant person with a positive outlook, full of initiative and proactivity
* An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and a good listener
* Understanding of financial processes – invoicing, payment orders, VAT and refunds
Desirable
* Experience with various IT system and ticketing platforms such as SEE Tickets, Sales Force & Opera
