Food and Beverage Manager
Description✓Food and Beverage Manager in the Dover area [maternity cover] - immediate start
✓£30-35,000 per annum, based on a 45 hour week across 5 working days [including some weekends/evenings], with the added benefit of an available bonus scheme! This is a maternity cover contract.
✓This is an exciting opportunity to make a mark on our client's developing and growing food and beverage sector in an area of their business which has been developing for the past four years
✓There is a variety of events planned across the site which will attract people of all ages from across Kent and beyond
✓We are looking for someone to bring ideas and creative planning to the table, whilst being practical and forward thinking on the ability of execution.
✓The restaurant is a successfully running business, which still has potential to grow into the summer of 2023
✓You will have the opportunity to come up with new and inventive ideas on how to drive the business forward, alongside the Restaurant Manager, and to ensure the daily running of the restaurant is fulfilling potential.
✓There is also a dynamic events space which offers a great venue for weddings through to conferences
✓Part of your role will be to oversee the sales and operations of this space, maximising use to its full potential
✓With 30+ events already booked in for this year, the business is looking for the right person to execute these to a high standard, working with not only their team, but also the customer in creating a great overall experience.
✓The Food and Beverage Manager will have the opportunity to be creative in their operations and ideas, contributing to the overall long-term plan of the company.
✓Some duties will include:
✓Being supported by two Supervisors and a Restaurant Manager, you will maintain excellent customer service and food offering, manage staff rotas, along with recruitment/HR, stock control, training and development.
✓Set up and execution of a variety of events from conferences to weddings
✓Includes planning stock, equipment, staff etc
✓Also, meeting clients to finalise plans and ensure all details are correct
✓Focus on customer relation and retention.
✓Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop ideas, including monthly evening events, development of event menus and ideas, attractive marketing for social events and ways of attracting new business into the already busy schedule.CVs in Word please
