Head Chef
Description✓Recruiting for an experienced, motivated and driven Head Chef to join this leading contract caterers team.
✓With approx
✓1000 people on site, the kitchen produces freshly prepared food for the staff restaurant as well as providing food for 2 other buildings and hospitality
✓The site can be busy with a grab & go and deli bar as well as the usual hot mains
✓Responsibilities of your role
✓* Work closely with the General Manager and manage a kitchen team of 4
✓* Fully responsible for the running of the kitchen ensuring a high level of standard as well as ensuring HACCP and compliance are followed
✓* Take ownership of the kitchen pushing and driving it forward
✓* Produce an exciting menu with up to date food trends and concepts as well as be involved with the food for the company's events such as BBQs and seasonal events
✓* Be adaptable in order to take on the challenges that catering for multiple buildings involves whilst remaining calm with the ability to work round issues and problem solve.
✓Working hours are Monday to Friday only, approx
✓40 hours per week.
✓You would be
✓* At Head Chef level with a progressive proven career background
✓* Ideally have worked within contract catering, corporate catering or similar
✓* Genuinely passionate about food as well as up to date with latest food trends/concepts
✓* Financially aware and able to manage costs
✓* Logical thinker and have the ability to problem solve
✓* Friendly and willing with a positive can do attitude
