HR Manager

DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Human Resources Manager to oversee HR performance across our company
As the HR Manager, you will report directly to the HR Director and collaborate closely with the senior management team
Your primary responsibility will be to support and lead the entire employee lifecycle within our cluster, working alongside the senior management team.
In this role, you will have a diverse range of tasks, functioning as a true HR generalist by handling administrative duties while also providing strategic support to achieve the overall goals of the HR function.
Responsibilities:
* Support the end-to-end employee lifecycle within the company.
* Collaborate with the HR Director team to innovate and implement HR projects across the organisation, driving and influencing positive change.
* Stay updated on best practices and innovative HR approaches, ensuring the company is aware of and potentially utilising them.
* Ensure the team structure, job roles, and succession planning are suitable and aligned with the evolving and growing nature of the business
Identify and maintain a talent pipeline that supports this.
* Report on HR performance across the company, identifying areas for short and long-term improvement
Drive excellent results through ongoing training, motivation, and compliance practices.
* Contribute to positioning the company as a desirable, reputable, and respectable employer of choice.
* Take charge of successful end-to-end recruitment, implementing and regularly auditing compliance procedures, comprehensive onboarding, and effective performance appraisals.
* Develop and maintain structured and effective training programs for team members, ensuring they align with company standards.
* Review training offerings to ensure their quality and suitability.
* Ensure compliance and effectiveness in employee relations practices, maintaining professional and comprehensive informal and formal procedures.
* Interpret employment laws and policies for management team members, providing advice on the best course of action for escalated circumstances.
* Foster a culture where team members respect company procedures, including absence management.
* Play a key leadership role in maintaining a positive company culture.
* Support the promotion of brand culture and messaging throughout the company, ensuring they are integrated from recruitment to ongoing employment.
* Regularly communicate and reinforce the company's values of integrity, humanity, and excellence within the team ethos.
* Ensure appropriate training, support, and mentorship are provided to team members for workplace outreach, including physical and mental wellbeing.
* Establish effective performance management and appraisal practices, driving reward and recognition initiatives.
* Support a "career" culture across the organisation, providing visibility of growth and development opportunities within the group
Actively encourage mentoring schemes, cross exposure to other hotel sites, and collaborative working.
Requirements:
* Proven track record of coaching and mentoring teams.
* Self-motivated individual with the ability to multitask and work across multiple sites with different teams
Excellent prioritisation skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with key business stakeholders
Able to maintain a professional and approachable demeanor.
* Proficient in IT, including online systems and Microsoft Office packages.
* Willingness to be flexible according to the needs of the business
