1st / 2nd Line Support Technician

DescriptionMarket leading Software Development house, that delivers software solutions to both the private and public sector, is expanding their support team and looking to recruit a Support Technician to provide 1st/2nd line support
You will be responsible for assisting with hardware and software problems via phone, email and face to face within the EPoS environment
The role is varied, so could be anything from installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading all software and hardware [including but not limited to PC, terminals and printers] to ensure optimal performance.
Any understanding of EPOS, SQL Server, TCP/IP, Windows Operating Services or VNC, would be highly desirable.

Salary: up to 28K plus on call allowance £200 per month for 1 weekend in 4
