Apprentice Software Developer

✓Salary for this role: £15,000pa, rising to £18,000pa after successful completion of 3 months employment, rising to £21,000pa on successful completion of apprenticeship.

✓You will be working closely with Developers and Business Analysts throughout the software development life cycle to help design, build and maintain existing web-based software applications using languages and technologies of the .NET framework
✓Designing, creating, and executing tests against functional or requirement specifications.
✓What will the apprentice be doing?
✓Designing, creating, and executing tests against functional or requirement specifications
✓Recording test evidence and results
✓Raising defects and issues, including all pertinent information with enough detail for the issue to be reproducible
✓Managing and closing defects through to a satisfactory conclusion
✓Answering the phone and responding to customer support requests asking for further information, providing insight or raising any customer identified issues to the development team
✓Supporting the release deployment process
✓Working with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts
✓Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications
✓Testing and deploying applications and systems
✓Revising, updating, refactoring and debugging code
✓Participating in requirements analysis
✓Recommending and executing improvements
✓Creating technical documentation for reference and reporting
✓Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
