Data Governance Manager

Data Governance is pivotal in delivering high-quality analytical solutions to both internal and external customers, driving top-line growth and margin

You will form part of the leadership team within the function, alongside colleagues in Data Engineering, Data Visualisation, Data Analytics, Data Science and Data Culture
This role will drive the strategy and tactical actions necessary to deliver high-quality, reliable data for downstream usage, working closely with colleagues across the business.
You will be the chief decision maker within Data Governance, reporting into Head of Data, Insights and Analytics UK&I.
What you'll be doing
Define and own the Data Governance roadmap, prioritisation
Design, implement and maintain Data Governance frameworks, policies and standards
Ensure clarity in communication and build solid relationships with diverse stakeholders and dependencies
Design the success measurement framework, including value quantification
Promote rigorous data governance, ensuring all colleagues understand and act on their responsibilities
Define the relevant processes and ways-of-working across the function and wider business
Define the tools and techniques required to deliver
Identify long-term growth requirements for the team to best deliver on function strategy
Work with DIA colleagues to deliver effective solutions that meet requirements
Support Data Fluency training development with unique knowledge
Advocate for and represent DIA professionally
About you
Experience of leadership and management within Data Governance
Stakeholder management with strong communication skills between the data and rest-of-business environments
