ICT Technician
Description✓We are looking for a suitably experienced ICT Technician for a local authority contract
✓There may be potential for this to become permanent contract for the right person.
✓Overall Objectives of the Post:
✓* To provide day to day 2nd line support and maintenance to the Council’s desktop and end-user devices
✓* To install, configure and test end-user device hardware and software
✓* To provide technical support, advice and guidance to users
✓* To work with other teams and contribute to other projects within the Digital and ICT Service
✓You will need relevant work experience in a similar role within the last 3 years and be able to demonstrate the below skills:
✓* Good working knowledge of MS Windows 8.1/10 and MS Office Products
✓* Good verbal and written communication skills
✓* Good diagnostic capabilities, particularly around desktop operating systems
✓* Problem solving skills
✓* Well organised
✓* Good keyboard skills and able to update systems accurately
✓* Able to quickly learn new technologies and solutions Show more →
