IT Field Engineer - 24-28k - Warrington
Description✓IT Field Engineer
✓Salary; £24,000 - £28,000 a year
✓4 day working week
✓Duties
✓This role includes working with multiple business & education customer settings
✓The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and proactive, able to work solo as well as part of a team
✓The company requires someone with a willingness to learn.
✓The daily role will be working on the help desk, providing 1st and 2nd line support and monitoring emergency requests
✓Whilst also completing daily checks of backups, services, and access.
✓Duties do also include, being involved in various installations, including but not limited to wireless solutions, Interactive screens, and cabling
✓Having the ability to clearly communicate both technically and in a non-technical manner is essential.
✓Day to day responsibilities / Requirements:
✓Ensure high levels of performance.
✓Management of Virtual Servers, Operating systems, and end user device estate.
✓Manage crisis situations effectively and work under pressure to resolve problems, if required.
✓Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support
✓Monitor, Diagnose and resolve any ticket to the best of your ability, escalating where required, in a timely manner, in line with SLA.
✓implementing new solutions.
✓Installing, configuring, and maintaining in house and 3rd party software
✓A large proportion of the role is supporting customer sites, usually within 75 miles of Warrington
✓UK driving Licence Experience and Qualifications
✓Highly motivated, driven, and proactive
✓Networking experience
✓Strong customer service skills
✓Excellent written and verbal skills.
✓Attention to detail
✓Excellent organisation and time management skills
✓Microsoft Stack and all Windows Operating systems experience
✓Ability to identify root cause of problems and implement solutions not temporary fixes.
