✓Our client is looking for a F/T Network Manager to join its Managed Services team in the Bedford area to manage an Academy
✓Providing a competitive salary for the right candidate, you will be the conduit between the Academy and Central Support.
✓Successful candidates will be excellent communicators who excel both working within a team and working with end users.
✓Whilst educational ICT experience is desirable, more important is the ability to communicate well with end-users and create a relationship with the academy.
✓The role is to help support an educational ICT system
✓This will include providing a proactive support service as well as diagnosis and fix of various day-to-day ICT System issues including server management, device/printer problems, projector/whiteboard problems, adding users, re-building PC's etc.
✓The successful applicant will manage the Service Desk in its entirety, prioritising issues that affect Teaching and Learning
✓You will be able to speak clearly to non-technical users and be able to communicate clearly and regularly with Senior Management, who you will also provide regular reports to.
✓Required or beneficial experience includes:
✓Network support in an educational environment
✓Windows Server and desktop OSs
✓Infrastructure experience [switches, Wi-Fi]
✓Active Directory/Group Policy
✓Desktop deployment [MDT/WDS, Windows 7/8/10]
✓Application deployment
✓Printers
✓Excellent ICT trouble-shooter
✓Managing an IT helpdesk and ensuring SLA's are met
✓IT Inductions to new staff members
✓Setting up new staff members and managing user processes
✓Maintain IT documentation such as Assets/Authentication docs/Maintenance scheduleINDIT
