Planner

DescriptionWe are looking for a Planner to join Aggreko on a 6 month contract
This will be working full time on a hybrid model working 3 days in the Glasgow office and 2 days remote
The role of a planner is critical in making sure their customers get the electricity, heating and cooling they need.
Job duties:
Manage orders through the capex and contract acceptance planning processes
Create weekly Sub Assembly & Final Assembly plans
Prepare material availability report from Power BI for the weekly production line start meetings
Manage schedule changes - particularly where they impact build start dates
Agree changes with materials and production managers
Responsible for customer communication on changes to plans
Facilitate the clearance of shortages in advance of M3 processing
Create scenario plans based on demand pipeline
Carry out M3, Mestec & i2B administration procedures daily
Loading of new demand to M3
Releasing of Manufacturing orders on M3
Maintenance of M3 finish dates in line with latest plan
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives
Experience required:
Production planning, materials planning, supply chain management or production control in a manufacturing environment
MRP or ERP systems experience
Good problem solving skills
