✓Yolk Recruitment are currently hiring for a QA Engineer to join a high-growth technology company who are the UK's leading app and digital platform providers for everything EV.
✓You will be testing new features on our client apps, facilitating the release of new versions, investigating bugs and writing test cases
✓You'll be working across the iOS and Android mobile apps, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto display, and the desktop website and map
✓You will predominantly be working on their mobile and in-car apps, and may work on their web products if required.
✓This will be a hybrid role with the opportunity to work from home as well as from our central Bristol office, at least once a week.

✓Essential Skills
✓2+ years experience as a QA Engineer or similar software testing role
✓ISTQB accredited [or equivalent]
✓Clear understanding of the software development and software testing life cycle
✓Passionate about quality and enthusiastic about continuous learning
✓Skilled in mapping out and writing concise and specific test cases
✓Experience in creating automated UI tests for the frontend of mobile apps, or interested in learning to automate
✓Experience working with bug tracking tools
✓Experience managing regression and feature tests
✓Good familiarity with OS of both Apple and Android mobile devices
✓Meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
✓Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with developers and other QAs
✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✓Fast learner and able to adapt quickly to new processes and software
✓Preferential Skills:
✓Experience working in an Agile development environment such as Scrum
✓Experience of automated testing would be beneficial
✓Full driving license and use of a car would be preferred although not essential
✓This would be for the occasional testing of our CarPlay and Android Auto apps Show more →
