Reporting Accountant - FTC

DescriptionAbout the roleAn opportunity has arisen for a Reporting Accountant to work within our Central Services team
You will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks
This is a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity to work on a full-time basis offering flexible, hybrid working within our Birmingham office.
 Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
What you'll be doing
Month-end reporting
Hyperion monthly, quarterly and annual submissions
GRP submissions and any other reporting as required by Group • UK GAAP / US GAAP / Hyperion reconciliation
Preparation of UK statutory accounts for multiple legal entities
Assist in optimising legal structure for UK companies and implementing any changes needed • ONS / CSO Reporting
Key technical accounting advisor
Liaise with other Finance and Shared Service Teams to resolve issues and reduce future errors
Other month end or Ad Hoc work as directed by the Financial Controller
 
About you
Qualified/part qualified ACCA/ACA
High level of attention to detail
IT literate [Excel would be advantageous]
Month end reporting and technical accounting experience
