Senior Deskside Engineer

DescriptionAre you a Senior Desktop Support Engineer used to delivering face-to-face support up to VIP level? Have you worked with a large user base where your technical know-how allowed you to deliver effective solutions, whilst working with minimal supervision?
If so, a leading provider of IT services is looking for an experienced Senior Desktop Support Engineer with excellent customer service skills, to deliver mobile cover at multiple sites across their Cambridge campus.
You must have first rate hardware and software skills combined with proven knowledge and expertise of Microsoft Windows, MAC and mobile products.
* Desktop hardware build, configuration and deployment experience with knowledge of Lenovo & HP equipment.
* Strong MS Office products support experience, especially MS Outlook/365.
* A good understanding of wireless connectivity and fault diagnostics.
* Understanding of DNS and network diagnostics.
* To be able to floor walk and deal with any technical issues from users.
* Able to add printers and map network connections.
* Able to follow scripts to build and configure laptops and desktops.
* Set up and maintain printers, clear jams, change cartridges etc.

This Senior Desktop Support Engineer opportunity is initially offered for 3 months but is highly likely to continue on a 3 month rolling basis.
