Description✓My client based in Surrey is looking for an experienced Software Developer to join their team! The client is a leading supplier of medical equipment and dental equipment
✓This is a great opportunity for an experienced software developer to work with an already established team where you and work along the full SDLC and maintenance of critical patient management software and push projects to the next level!
✓The role is a hybrid basis with a standard week being 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH
✓The client offers flexibility on this so there is scope to discuss this arrangement.
✓Job Title: Software Developer / Analyst
✓Salary: £45,000-£55,000
✓Education: Computer science degree
✓Duties and responsibilities
✓Software development
✓* Responsible for research and development of new system features and bug fixing, through full software life cycle - analysis, design, code, documentation, testing, installation.
✓* Develop, document and maintain add-on modules [e.g
✓reporting], utilities [e.g
✓installers] and interfaces to the system from external suppliers
✓* Opportunities to move into greenfield development for the right candidate
✓Project management
✓* Liaising with the software development team leader to obtain requirements for new features and agreeing the timescales and resources needed
✓Required skills and experience:
✓* C#, SQL, Microsoft Visual Studio, version control [e.g
✓Git]
✓* Web App experience [Angular]
✓* Excellent oral and written communication skills
✓* Excellent numeric skills [e.g., statistics]
✓* Excellent problem-solving and logical thinking skills
✓* WinForms knowledge would be beneficial.
✓* Experience of .NET framework 3.5 is beneficial.
✓* Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
✓* Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures
✓* Good knowledge of networking
✓* Excellent time-management skills and ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines
✓* Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organised
