✓We are currently recruiting for a Costs Draftsperson who will be based in Liverpool
✓This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the work they do, the service they provide and getting the best results for their clients.
✓Providing bespoke Cost Drafting support to colleagues within the organisation
✓Working with colleagues within a close-knit team environment to ensure both individual and departmental scheduling expectations/targets are serviced and met
✓Responsible for management of allocated drafting caseload and ensuring timely production of accurate/high quality bills of costs in predominantly Housing Disrepair claims.

✓Responsibilities to include:
✓* Drafting bills of costs [using CostsMaster drafting software].
✓* Providing dedicated costs support to colleagues, both within the Department and the legal business.
✓* Working closely with colleagues and Department Manager within a team environment to ensure drafting expectations are achieved.
✓* Maintaining awareness of claim lifecycles and ensuring that service delivery is maintained.
✓* Ensuring colleague/management expectations and outcomes are met in a timely fashion.
✓* Identifying and adhering to department/group objectives
✓* Showing initiative with ability to work within a team environment but autonomously [managing own caseload] and the capability to deal with complex matters.
✓* Liaising with colleagues to maintain departmental working practices and procedures.
✓* Understanding legal processes and documentation including internal case management system.
✓* Being passionate and enthusiastic about our work.
✓* Thinking independently and taking ownership of work.
✓* Being agile/responsive to work and adapting to change and evolution within the business.
✓About You:
✓* Degree level/Qualified Costs Lawyer [desirable]
✓* Minimum 1 years’ experience in a Bill Drafting role
✓* Proficient in using CostsMaster drafting software to draft bills.
✓* Excellent communication, organisation and research skills
✓* Good understanding of the CPR, relevant legislation, case law and costs industry regulations
✓* Experience of using Proclaim case management system [desirable]
✓* Diligence and high attention to detail
