About The Role
Leicester City Women’s Football Club are looking for a Physical Performance Coach to provide Sports Science provision across the Women’s Academy player pathway
The key duties of the role will be to provide physical performance coaching to the academy players for all training sessions and matches, assist the delivery of all academy teams Strength & Conditioning sessions
The role requires the candidate to be able to coherently report progress back to the management staff, evaluating performance against established and agreed goals.
This role will involved working with under 18 players.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate have significant experience of:
* Delivering S&C sessions and formal monitoring and evaluation of Club player performance.
* Managing and implementing the GPS data tracking of all Academy Players [where applicable].
* Communicating regularly with Management Staff to ensure match day preparations and team selections are in place.
* Promoting a positive environment for learning and development within the team.
The ideal candidate will also have the following;
* A practical, flexible, and innovative approach to work, with excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management.
* Able to communicate effectively [written and verbal] across all levels and with players, staff and senior management.
* Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
* Dedicated to self-improvement and personal development.
* An ability to inspire and lead individuals.
* Focused on individual player development.
* Willing to support and promote the Club and Football Philosophy.
Essential Requirement –
* BSc in Sports Science or a Sport Science related discipline.
* UK Strength & Conditioning accreditation [UKSCA] or Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach [ASCC]
Or be in a position to attain accreditation within 12 months
* FA Level 2 Emergency First Aid in Football [EFAIF].
* UKAD Clean Sport Advisor
* FA DBS

From its formation in 2004, the Club was run on an amateur and semi-professional basis with support from Leicester City Football Club
