The Job
Join this growing start-up as a Junior Account Manager positioned in the Property Team whose focus is to optimise both the company product and revenue opportunity with existing property partners.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a pivotal and high performing team helping to drive the company forward and continue as a market leader in this field.
Responsibilities:
* Be the first point of contact for an existing portfolio of properties, helping them improve performance and conversion with the ultimate goal of achieving higher revenue rates.
* Agree exclusive packages, availability and competitive rates aligned with customer demand.
* Research and on-board new properties that have the right commercial fit.
* Work with the Sales Team to resolve any user barriers to making bookings and escalate any product issues to the tech team e.g
customer complaints, low availability, price discrepancies.
* Negotiate commission rates with property partners to improve margin.
* Monitor competitor activity.
* Visit partner properties to ensure they are inline with brand standards e.g
understand what “dog-friendly” means to customers.
* Provide data driven marketing reports to both internal stakeholders and external property partners.
Work 2 days remotely and 3 days from the office.
Candidate requirements
* 2+ years experience in online travel, ideally in a sales or product focused position.
* Natural talent for building as well and maintaining a network of relationships with suppliers.
* Strong geographical knowledge of the UK.
* Analytical and data driven approach.
* High attention to detail.
* Commercially focused who will take ownership for driving results and exceeding targets.
* Can prioritise workload effectively.
* Comfortable working collaboratively with multiple departments but also independently on projects.
* Willing to travel to partner hotels and meet managers.
Bonus points for
* Channel manager experience.
* Experience using Salesforce.
Drivers licence and have own car.
