✓My client is a luxury travel company who provide high end luxury travel incorporating escorted tours and cruises to worldwide destinations.
✓They are now recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their accounts team.
✓The Accounts Assistant will be predominately responsible for accounts payable/supplier invoices working in a fast-paced environment.
✓To apply for the Accounts Assistant role, candidates must have excellent knowledge of excel, attention to detail and previous experience within the travel industry.
✓This role is offered on a hybrid basis.
✓Accounts Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:
✓Process a high volume of supplier payments in multiple currencies.
✓Process client refunds & Credit Vouchers
✓Clear the invoices & queries received in the central accounts inbox;
✓Run & maintain regular reports including Credit Control, Petty Cash, Staff expenses, etc
✓Post bank statement transactions daily
✓Administration support to other departments
✓Prepare Agents' commission statements.
✓Ad-hoc project work
✓Accounts Assistant Experience Required:
✓Previous finance experience gained within the travel industry.
✓Good verbal and written communication skills
✓Excellent attention to detail
✓Computer literacy and the ability to use various specialist applications.
✓Competence in Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word
✓Good administrative skills
✓A willingness to undertake professional development.
✓The ability to learn quickly and adapt to [often complex] in-house systems.
✓Accounts Assistant Salary and Benefits:
✓Base Salary to £32,000 depending on experience.
