About The Role
Leicester City Women’s Academy are looking to recruit ETC Centre Group Coaches for LCFC Women’s wider talent pathway
The key duties of the role will be to provide a high standard of coaching to a respective age group, educating all players in line with LCFC Women philosophy and methodology.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the following:
* Experience of young player development and knowledge of appropriate technique and skill development practices.
* Previous experience of working within an Academy environment and with 8-14 age groups.
* A clear understanding of the Academy System and the professional football environment.
* Can address the different learning styles and can use various methods to cater for all needs.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills and competencies;
* Ability to plan, deliver and bring about the desired session outcome.
* Excellent coaching and delivery skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
* Monitor sessions with the ability to be flexible, adapt and/or amend session designs to bring about intensity, tempo and free flowing football with quality.
* Ability to effectively manage player, parents/guardians and staff relationships.
Essential Requirement –
* Minimum Level 2 qualification or above coaching qualification.
* FA DBS.
* Holds an in-date FA Safeguarding Children Certificate or is willing to complete the FA Safeguarding Children Workshop within 3 months.
* FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football [IFAiF] or FA Emergency First Aid.
* Full UK Driving Licence.

From its formation in 2004, the Club was run on an amateur and semi-professional basis with support from Leicester City Football Club
In August 2020, the Club turned professional after being acquired by King Power International – Leicester City’s parent company – and realigned as a core team in Leicester City’s football operation.
