Description✓Job Title: Sports Centre Duty Officer
✓Location: Wath-upon-Dearne, Rotherham
✓Salary: £20,048 per annum + benefits
✓Hours: Full time - 37 hours per week
✓Length of the contract: Permanent
✓Grafton Recruitment are seeking to appoint a Duty Officer to join our client's Sports Centre Team
✓The Duty Officer will be responsible for the operational day to day activities of the Sports Centre whilst on duty.
✓Main Duties:
✓Support and encourage the growth of participation through the services, activities and standards of customer care provided by the Sports facility.
✓To be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, management, and operation of the Sports facility.
✓To be responsible for the development and maintenance of a highly motivated, performing, and efficient team.
✓Plan, monitor and meet targets for sales, programming, and activities so that facilities and income are maximised.
✓Operate and maintain a system of quality control which ensures that the service provision, presentation and maintenance of facilities and equipment are consistently to the highest standard.Role Criteria:
✓Hold a minimum of a Level 3 Sports or Leisure related qualification or a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.
✓Experience of supervisory responsibilities.
✓Knowledge of health and safety guidelines in a sports and leisure centre environment.
✓Ability to work flexibly as the role involves working evenings and weekends on a rota basis.Benefits:
