About The Role
Leicester City Women Football Team are looking to recruit an ETC Centre Manager for Leicester City Women’s Academy Pathway
The key duties of the role will be to provide a high standard of a developmental program and to support the delivery of coaching sessions within the local community to respected local Sister Clubs as well as managing the resources and operations of the Emerging Talent Centre to ensure the best players are identified and developed.
This role will be working with players from the age of 7 to 14 years old across Leicester.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be establishing the new role and therefore will have significant experience of:
* A good understanding of youth development in elite and grassroot sport.
* Knowledge of the women’s football pyramid and the requirements of being an Emerging Talent Centre.
* Experience of working within foundation age groups.
* Experience of young player/ player development and knowledge of appropriate technique and skill development practices.
* Previous experience of working within an Academy environment.
The ideal candidate will also have the following skills and knowledge;
* A practical, flexible, and innovative approach to work, with excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management.
* Able to communicate effectively [written and verbal] across all levels and with players, staff and senior management.
* Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
* Dedicated to self-improvement and personal development.
* An ability to inspire and lead individuals.
* Focused on individual player development.
* Willing to support and promote the Club and Football Philosophy.
Essential Requirement –
* Level 3 or above Coaching Qualification or Teaching qualification.
* Teaching qualification only: Must have FA Level 2 Coaching qualification.
* FA DBS
* FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football [IFAiF] or FA Emergency First Aid.
* Full UK Driving Licence

From its formation in 2004, the Club was run on an amateur and semi-professional basis with support from Leicester City Football Club
