Events Executive

✓They provide over one million members with access to nearly 2,700 locations in the UK and Europe, as well as giving them access to their vast knowledge and expertise in how to make the most of caravanning and motor-homing a leisure pastime.

✓They are currently seeking an Events Executive [12-month fixed term contract] To promote the Club’s brands as Champions of the Great Outdoors through developing and arranging Events/Activities at Pop-up campsites, Festival/ Sports campsites and other Club or Partner Events that maximise opportunities for member/customer value including acquisition
✓
✓
✓Location: Flexible – Between Home/Office [East Grinstead]
✓Salary: up to £31,000 per annum depending upon experience
✓
✓Some of the key responsibilities will involve:
✓
✓Develop and supervise all activities in relation to the support of Pop-up campsites, festival/Sports campsites and other Club or Partner Events
✓Be the main point of contact for all parties and ensure that business partners are included in all arrangements affecting both financial [sponsorship] and non-financial [e.g
✓competitions/gifts] obligations
✓Research and review new activities and opportunities at a local level that support bookings and occupancy for all campsites and outdoor Events
✓Ensure that all enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner
✓Develop effective relationships with suppliers and agencies in support of delivering activities within budget and on time
✓Ensuring that the Club benefits from any economies from securing long-term relationships in liaison with the Senior Events Manager and Procurement team
✓Provide analysis and feedback on the feasibility of each event and produce and maintain revenue and expenditure budgets for each event
✓Ensure that appropriate reports and feedback are provided regularly to Club partners and sponsors
✓Develop marketing and promotion collateral for all activities/events in conjunction with the wider marketing team, ensuring that all deadlines are met and stakeholder requirements are included within the process
✓
✓ Our ideal applicant will have/be:
✓
✓Significant events experience in a customer-centric commercial environment [ideally B2C and B2B]
✓Proven ability and confidence to deliver outstanding Activities and Events on time and within budget
✓Hands-on approach and a willingness to work outdoors at events, including regular UK travel
✓Exposure and understanding of contractor management and event booking systems
✓Strong written and oral communication skills
✓Excellent administrative skills
✓Excellent customer relationship skills
✓Comfortable working as part of a team as well as on their own initiative
✓Able to manage multiple work streams and prioritise effectively to ensure deadlines are met
✓Positive and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
✓Ability to create strong relationships with external business partners, sponsors and suppliers
