DescriptionOne of the UK's largest and foremost law firms is currently recruiting for an experienced Fleet Manager, tasked with overseeing the management of the company's car fleet of around 250 vehicles, including Partner cars, field representatives and other business car users.

The Role
As Fleet Manager you would oversee and coordinate the firm's car fleet of around 250 vehicles, including Partner cars, field representatives and other business car users
You would be expected to manage the fleet in a cost-effective way, keeping the policies and suppliers under regular review to ensure they are fit for purpose, advising drivers with car orders, and liaising with lease providers and other suppliers.
Other key tasks will include…
- Acting as the key point of contact for all firm's drivers
- Liaise with suppliers including lease providers, insurance, fuel etc, review and renegotiate terms and discounts
- Managing the relationship with the lease provider, being the first point of contact for queries and problems.
- Monitoring and review of fleet costs, reporting of monthly costs to management
- Regular review of individual car data, to ensure cars stay within mileage allowances

The Candidate
- Experience of fleet management with good level of car maintenance knowledge
- Knowledge of UK duty of care / HSE regulations - directly linked to driving for business
- Understanding of business car leasing / BVRLA, plus UK BIK taxation rules / P11d regulations
- Good Knowledge of the UK Car Market, particularly business and executive cars
- Good general accounting skills and understanding of financial issues and lease pricing
- Confident communication skills, written and verbal, with strong telephone skills
- A self-starter, able to work on own initiative developing solutions as well as being part of a team
