✓Our client is an award-winning tour operator and as part of their growth strategy, they are now launching a North America and Canada product which is aimed at the discerning client.
✓This is a great opportunity to join as they launch this new region, the role will suit an experienced North America sales consultant who is interested in being closely involved in the product development and launch of the USA and Canada.
✓As this company develop and grows this region, the role will be working very closely alongside the North America Product Manager, assisting in building the business and content for this region.
✓Candidates must have previous travel experience selling the USA and Canada.
✓This role is offered on a hybrid basis.
✓North America Travel Consultant Responsibilities:
✓Managing tailor-made holiday enquiries communicating primarily by phone and email but also face to face at occasional travel shows or client events.
✓Design and produce unique bespoke itineraries-based on the client's requirements.
✓Provide first class customer service whilst progressing efficiently towards closing the sale.
✓Booking all travel arrangements including flights, hotels, excursions, and ground transportation with our local partners.
✓Exceeding monthly and annual sales targets and meet Key Performance Indicators, including customer service client feedback.
✓North America Travel Consultant Experience Required:
✓Travel industry sales experience is essential designing and selling Tailor-made holidays to the USA and Canada.
✓Passion for and geographical knowledge of the USA and Canada, including first hand travel experience there.
✓A polite manner and the ability to easily develop rapport with a differing range of personalities.
✓A first-class unwavering approach to customer service and care as well as the ability to meet sales targets.
✓North America Travel Consultant Salary and Benefits
✓A base salary of £31,000 plus commission [OTE £35,000 - £45,000] - uncapped.
✓Possibility for guaranteed commission during the launch period
✓31 days annual leave [incl
✓bank holidays, increasing with service].
✓Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 working from home
✓Working hours are Mon-Fri, 9am-5:30pm
✓Regular educational trips to North America and travel discounts
