About The Role
Leicester City Women’s Football Club are looking an individual to support and oversee performance lifestyle and education of all players in our Academy set up
With an emphasis on the Professional Development Phase [PDP], towards the positive mental health and personal development of all Academy members
This individual will be the key contract for players to ensure matters off the pitch are addressed enabling them to concentrate on playing.
This role will involve working with under 18 players.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be establishing the new role and therefore will have significant experience of:
* Working in an elite high-performance setting and the challenges faced in them.
* Experience of working with young adults
* Have previous in-depth office management, administration, operational or secretarial experience.
* Tact and discretion when dealing with confidential information
The ideal candidate will also have the following skills and knowledge;
* Understanding of learning, development, and high performance with a proven track record of creating optimum learning environments for players.
* Can work within a team environment, co-operates, considers the needs of others, and helps others to achieve objectives.
* A practical, flexible, and innovative approach to work, with excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management.
Essential Requirement –
* Relevant pastoral education experience and/or player care/performance lifestyle experience.
* FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football [IFAiF] or FA Emergency First Aid.
* FA DBS
About The Club
Knowing some of the history of LCFC Women helps you appreciate the sense of community, spirit and family for which the Club are renowned for.
In May 2021, LCFC Women were promoted to the FA Women’s Super League
From its formation in 2004, the Club was run on an amateur and semi-professional basis with support from Leicester City Football Club
In August 2020, the Club turned professional after being acquired by King Power International – Leicester City’s parent company – and realigned as a core team in Leicester City’s football operation.
