✓【Job Purpose】
✓- Assisting MD in general
✓- Assisting MD in marketing and business development
✓- Supervising the staff in the department
✓- Selling/organising group packages and MICE products to our clients
✓- Maintain good relationships with clients
✓- Obtain new clients
✓【Key responsibilities & accountabilities】
✓- Supervise and manage the Sales department in line with MD
✓- Assist MD as/when needed
✓- Being the first contact for group tours [including working out of office hours/over the weekend/bank holidays, if required]
✓- Prepare action plans and identify specific targets
✓- Present and sell our services to current and potential clients
✓- Create travel plans in accordance with clients’ requirements
✓- Research the best option for the hotels, where to visit and what/where to eat etc
✓- Take quotations for flights, entertainment and events, accommodation, meeting rooms, transfer etc
✓- Prepare presentations, proposals, quotations and sales contracts
✓- Negotiation with suppliers to meet the clients’ needs for the tours
✓- Collect payments from clients in time
✓- Tour Escort [ie 1 week travel with a group in Japan] if needed
✓【Skills/Qualifications】
✓- Profit management in the Sales team
✓- Problem solving and decision making
✓- Good delegation skills
✓- Customer focused
✓- Prepare presentations using Power Point, Excel or Word
✓- Excellent communication skills with fluent spoken and written English and Japanese [native/business level]
✓- Managing experience in the hospitality industry [ideally travel industry], especially in Sales and Operation
✓- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
✓- Working at both home and office depending on the situation but mainly in the office
✓- Business trips might be required [both UK and abroad]
✓- Ability of speaking/writing/reading in English and Japanese [native/business level] is a must Show more →
