Sales Support Coordinator
Description✓Our client based in East Grinstead are expanding their Concierge team and are keen to recruit people with an interest in travel and sales who are able to support the Sales team.
✓The salary will be dependent on experience, £22K for a junior, less experienced person and up to £25K for a more experienced person
✓The person will also receive commission bonus payments approximately £4-5K.
✓THE ROLE:
✓As a member of the Concierge team, you will get the opportunity to amend, upsell and assist customers with worldwide tailored-made holidays.
✓You will be the primary contact for existing customers, offering support mainly post booking but also prior to booking to assist sales specialists who are on annual leave.
✓KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
✓* Provide support to customers at the quote stage in the absence of the Sales specialist
✓Specifically ongoing quote replies and processing of any bookings in absence of the quote owner
✓* Manage customers post booking with questions and booking amendments, including upselling
✓* Communicate with overseas suppliers to facilitate amendments
✓* Assist with out-of-date range bookings where air or ground changes are commercially or logistically required
✓* Assist with airline and touring schedule changes
✓* Support with client balance chasing
✓* Take calls during peak times
✓SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED
✓* Excellent verbal communication skills
✓* Good understanding of the English language both oral and written
✓* Numerate
✓* Excel in customer service
✓* Good attention to detail
✓* Desire to seek opportunities to improve existing profit
✓* Prior Travel background is a huge advantage but not a necessity
✓There will be up to 6 weeks training in their East Grinstead office and this will be Monday to Friday 9.00 am -5.30 pm.
✓These are full-time 37.5 hours a week contracts but they could consider from 30 hours upwards too.
✓The role will be in based in their East Grinstead office but there is the possibility of some hybrid hours after training, as they are looking for a couple of late shifts to be worked per week, 10.30 am - 7.00 pm, the other shifts will be 9.00 am-5.30 pm.
