Social Media Manager
Description✓Gecko Travel Recruitment are thrilled to be working with this wonderful and award winning Tour Operator who are looking for a Social Media Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
✓Reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the management of all social media platforms and writing and editing content for the website, brochures, emails, documentation, social media and all other brand and marketing channels.
✓The role:
✓* Management of all social media platforms including creation of content strategy, scheduling of all posts, post engagement and analysis
✓* Maintaining the brand tone throughout all copy and content across all marketing platforms
✓* Writing and editing content for the website, brochures, emails, documentation, social media and all other brand and marketing channels
✓* Following SEO advice and strategy from digital agency partners
✓* Working with the Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing Director to deliver annual marketing strategy
✓* Growing the business presence through socials, working with the internal and external PR team to promote press releases, build company profile and share necessary updates
✓You will have:
✓* Previous experience in social media and copywriting within the travel industry is essential
✓* Social media management or strategy experience
✓* Excellent organisation, presentation and attention to detail
✓* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
✓* A passion and drive to create and develop a successful career within the business
✓* A degree in English Literature or the arts would be beneficial but not essential
