Spa Business Manager

DescriptionTo be responsible for meeting revenue targets and budgets and to manage the daily operation of the House of Elemis
To pro-actively develop the business through promotional activity, events and a strong affiliate program and to focus on increasing occupancy and maximizing the bookings across the division
To work with various department in order to operate smoothly across the division
Maintaining the highest quality of professionalism, standards, customer experience, treatment delivery and retail sales within the department
Supporting the team to help maximise their retail sales, treatment upgrades, courses, and rebooking’s.
Essential Responsibilities Financial
Support on budget creation.
Implementation of the budget.
Responsible for the financial performance of the spa and related departments.
Develop a roster that deliveries optimum revenue with a strong workable understanding of the roster’s financial implications.
To monitor operating costs, overseeing purchase orders and invoices, and being aware of the monthly P&L report.
Ensure P&L is analysed to measure productivity and use report to control on-going profitability by managing costs.
Implementation of change based on the P&L analysis
As the dedicated wellbeing ambassador for the department, ensuring employees take the time to attend the wellbeing webinars and create in-house wellbeing experiences and training to support mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing.
Establish strategies for achieving the targets.
Ensure all Daily, Weekly and Monthly financial reports are completed and analysed on time with relevant KPI’s regularly reviewed and reported on.
Setting achievable goals for spa employees, to include both treatment and retail goals Control all aspect of operational supplies and labour in the Spa
To assist in the completion of stock check weekly and monthly any discrepancies on stock should be found and rectified.
To oversee ordering, storage and stock control, minimising stock loss.
Ensure that purchasing is aligned with budget and current performance levels.
To prepare and present financial reports to show the development and achievements of the Spa
Marketing
Implement a Marketing and PR calendar with guidance from the Marketing/PR divisions which encourages repeat custom and new business to drive retail and treatment sales.
• Drive activity into the spa through liaising with affiliate contacts and setting up partnerships to drive revenue and corporate hire.
Manage spa business decisions by staying on top of spa industry trends, through competitor analysis to ensure the spa has a competitive edge at all times
