✓Hours of work: Wednesday & Thursday 16:00-19:00

✓Our 5 wet leisure centres are home to our swim school programme where we are current delivering swimming lessons for over 7000 swimmers, that range from Babies to Adults and everyone in between!
✓Our swimming programme is delivered in our range of swimming pools from 25m 6 Lane pools to Splash and Teaching pools and is delivered to swim England standard
✓What is the job of a Swimming Teacher…
✓Reporting to the Aquatics Manager as the Swimming Teacher you will be delivering our schools and swim school programme
✓You will be responsible for delivering planned swimming lessons for an arrange of ages and abilities to the swim England learn to swim programme.
✓* Undertake sessions according to the programme timetable, ensuring classes commence and finish at the designated times
✓* Carry out all administrative tasks associated with the position, carrying out class registers and continuous assessment of pupils using handheld devices
✓* Support primary and secondary schools’ teachers in delivering effective lessons during school booking times
✓* Prepare lesson plans and deliver our scheme of work that meets the requirements of the National Curriculum and the ‘Swim England Learn to Swim Framework’ for teachers
✓* Assist in the development of programming through innovative ideas and initiating actions to meet the demands of the customers
✓* Ensure all concerns of a child safeguarding nature are referred in a timely and appropriate manner, in accordance with Safeguarding policy

✓* Holds a ASA/Swim England Level 2 or Full STA Certificate in Teaching Swimming
✓* Experience of delivering first class customer service
✓* Excellent communication skills, including listening, questioning, and delivering effective feedback, and the ability to quickly build trust and rapport with customers, children, and their parents
✓* Experience of adapting lesson plans and delivery to meet the needs of our customers
