We are now seeking a full-time talented Project Manager Intern to manage a variety of projects [e.g., translation, interpreting and transcription] across our diverse and growing global client base, using different in-house software
A successful candidate will have a background in languages and a positive attitude in order to make an impact from the outset.
Translation Project Manager Internship – Responsibilities:
• Analyse files and prepare quotations in line with clients' expectations
• Liaise and negotiate with linguists
• Perform Quality Assurance tasks and short translations where required
• Customer service [emails, answering calls]
• Linguist database updates as required
• Ad-hoc admin tasks
Please note that all internships are consultative
This means that both you and your supervisor will need to be proactive in discussing the details of the role, setting targets and regular check-ins both prior to arrival and during your internship.
What we need from you:
• University degree [preferably in linguistic/translation related studies]
• Native speaking or very good command of English
• Attention to details while multitasking and time management
• Communication, negotiation and organisational skills
• Problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
• Understanding of key financial principles
• Customer-focused, keen to exceed client expectations
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with different file formats
• Flexibility to work independently, as part of a team and under supervision
Desirable skills:
• Customer service skills/experience
• Proficient knowledge of other languages
• Proven knowledge and use of CAT Tools [e.g
SDL Trados Studio, MemoQ]
