Client Sales and Service Manager

DescriptionOur client, [who is an outsource service provider covering a range of disciplines within the recruitment and payroll sectors], is currently in the market to offer a fantastic career opportunity for an experienced Client Sales and Services Manager to join the team working out of their prestigious city centre office overlooking Liverpool waterfront.
As this role will form an important part of the company management team, applicants must have prior similar experience in the management, performance, motivation and development of office based customer service and sales teams.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Ensure all sales and retention opportunities are maximised by giving constant attention and inspiration to the team.
* Set innovative and effective incentives with the team to generate energy and increase productivity.
* To work with the Sales team to effectively manage the introduction of new contracts as well as set targets.
* Review internal processes and customer journey regularly to ensure growth and development.
* Continuously seek employee feedback to improve employee engagement and own development
* Regularly carry out effective 1-1s and Team Meetings with all team members and encourage team to develop, through training and coaching
* Communicate effectively with the Management Team and Senior Management Team to ensure appropriate visibility and understanding of operational output.
* To be fully aware of the Client portfolio allocated and to track performance on each account to include full awareness or turnover and trends.
* Establish strengths and weaknesses within the team and recommend changes and training where applicable
* Responsible for department personnel including appraisals, training, holiday management.
* To actively look at ways in which services can be improved and revenue can be enhanced within an existing client base.
* To provide sales support for tenders & contractual negotiations
Reporting Line
This is a senior role and as such you will report into the operational team across the business, both on your own initiative and in response to their requests for your input and advice.

Our client is looking for a high-performing candidate that has a wealth of knowledge and experience in managing teams of people and driving output and performance
So to be suitable for this role you must be able to demonstrate previous working experience of:
* Working to tight deadlines with strong organisational skills, a high level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
* Managing a team that proactively sell products or services using outbound sales and marketing techniques.
* Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in order to excel in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
* Ability to identify areas for improvement and/or development within the team, commercial processes and the wider business.
* Possesses excellent people skills to build rapport with the team, communicate effectively and drive maximum output.
* Communicates comfortably and effectively with other members of the management team to ensure appropriate visibility and business performance
* Experience with team management; recruitment, training, management, progression, disciplinary.
* Experience leading a team to increase revenue, drive business performance and improve customer satisfaction.
* Implementing and enhancing improvement processes.
* Coping with multiple projects at one time.
* Proven people management skills including recruitment life cycle, managing employee relations issues, training and development
Additional desirable experience would be:
* Proven ability to manage processes across multiple departments, not all of which are managed by you.
* Impressive track record of improving business processes and procedures to achieve better output and outcomes.
* Experience with Sales and CRM systems such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
* Experience with KPI measures, Pipeline management and Targeting [both Team and Individual].
