✓We are currently looking for a Deputy Quarry Manager to join our team at Jackdaw Crag Quarry on a permanent, full-time basis.

✓The Role
✓As the Deputy Quarry Manager, you will support the safe and efficient operation of Jackdaw Crag Quarry.
✓Assisting the Quarry Manager, you will ensure the quarry is productive and effectively managed
✓You will make sure that H&S practices are followed and all activities on site are controlled.
✓You will also support environmental management systems, promote environmentally considerate work practices and undertake regular site inspections and risk assessments.
✓About You
✓To be considered as a Deputy Quarry Manager, you will need:
✓- Experience and/or knowledge of the quarrying and waste industries
✓- Strong leadership skills involving a multi-disciplined team
✓- Good communication skills
✓- To be educated to A-Level standard [preferably to degree level] or possess an equivalent NVQ/QCF in a relevant subject
✓- IT proficiency
