DescriptionHere at Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply [CIPS], we have a new and exciting opportunity available for a Digital Community Manager to join our team on a full-time, fixed-term contract until February 2024
We are offering Hybrid Working - flexibility to work from home and at our main office based in the UK at Easton House, Lincolnshire.  In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £31,509 - £37,419 per annum including great benefits!

Key responsibilities as a Digital Community Manager
Welcoming community platform users, starting conversations and connecting users to relevant people, conversations, content, and groups.

Acting as a brand ambassador, building positive trusting relationships with customers, members, and volunteers.

Being highly responsive to community members on a daily basis focusing on ensuring relevant responses and content contributions.

Keeping the community active and engaged by connecting users to relevant resources and discussions.

Collaborating with key internal stakeholders, support the ongoing development and execution of the community engagement strategy; inputting into defining objectives, developing roadmaps, and identifying, measuring, and reporting of success indicators.

Working across internal teams to optimise content, bringing in expertise where needed and aligning to conversation topics, questions, and themes within the platform.

Analysing and reporting to provide actionable insights and presenting those back to key internal stakeholders.

Delivering training sessions for staff and community champions.

Managing moderation within the platform and building the process to manage potential escalations.

Evolving and developing the framework of what the Community Platform is for our members and volunteers as part of the value proposition of membership.

Staying up to date with latest digital and community industry trends, developments, and best practices.
Skills and experience required as our Digital Community Manager
Experience of managing and engaging online or digital communities through social media or digital platforms
Digital platforms such as Discourse or other similar open source internet forums.

Experience or qualifications in public relations, creative writing, content creation, marketing, communications or corporate social media.

Experience of working in or supporting Membership or not for profit organisations.

Demonstrable experience planning and delivering a community strategy through the performance of community management tasks and personal leadership.

Knowledge of how to develop data sets and experience with both qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques.

Ability to recognise trends and opportunities for engagement and create reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

Knowledge of the procurement and supply profession.

Excellent relationship management skills and experience of interacting across all levels of seniority in a professional context.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to create engaging content
