Events Production Manager

They provide over one million members with access to nearly 2,700 locations in the UK and Europe, as well as giving them access to their vast knowledge and expertise in how to make the most of caravanning and motor-homing a leisure pastime.
 
They are currently seeking an Events Production Manager to support the promotion of the Club’s brands as Champions of the Great Outdoors through managing  and arranging engaging events that align to both brand audiences and maximise opportunities for member/customer value, retention and acquisition and revenue growth
 
 
Location:            Flexible – Between Home/Office [East Grinstead] and Event Sites as required
Salary:                up to £36,500 per annum depending upon experience     
 
Some of the key responsibilities will involve:

Taking the Production lead in the delivery of projects, campaigns, and events
Producing and managing event work schedules and timelines to ensure that resources [internal and external] and assets are aligned across events and are not compromised, for the Club or members and non-members
Produce and manage Event Safety Plans, working with Safety Advisory Groups [SAGs] and internal
Work with clients and stakeholders to ensure plans and venue assessments are provided that meet the requirements of all parties
Manage project budgets ensuring best value pricing, negotiations with suppliers and making contractor selection
Liaise with venues and site service representatives through appropriate site visits and regular online meetings
Ensure projects are delivered [development, build and running on-site] on budget and on-time to the highest possible standards
Provide appropriate post-event feedback to all stakeholders
Research and develop new opportunities for both Pop-up campsites and event activities
 
  Our ideal applicant will have/be:    

Professional Events Management qualification [or suitable work experience at management level] is required
Significant outdoor Events experience in a customer-centric acquisition and commercial environment
Proven ability to create strong relationships with external business partners, sponsors and suppliers
Exposure and understanding of contract management
Experience in producing and managing Event Safety Plans
Ideally, H&S qualification
Strong written and oral communication skills
Budget management and Commercially astute
Excellent relationship management skills
Comfortable working as part of a team as well as on their own initiative
Able to manage multiple workstreams and prioritise effectively to ensure deadlines are met
Positive and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
Full UK driving licence
Some travel across the UK in support of events, including some weekends
