✓Rochdale Based / Visits to Our Other 4 Office Sites in Manchester

✓The HR Manager role:
✓This is an exciting opportunity for a HR Manager to join our highly successful, growing team in Rochdale
✓You will provide a full range of Human Resources services that cover employee relations, policy development, organisational change, and performance management
✓You will lead the implementation of best practices and ensure compliance with UK employee legislation and Company policies and procedures.
✓The role is working on a Full Time, Permanent basis
✓We operate across 5 sites in Greater Manchester so there will be a requirement to visit different sites as needed
✓This is a busy and varied role where you will lead a busy dynamic HR team supporting 300 colleagues.
✓Key Responsibilities:
✓+ Leading colleague engagement to create a great working culture
✓+ Managing complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy
✓+ Advising managers on the terms and conditions of employment and best practice
✓+ Ensuring legal compliance is met in all HR activities
✓+ Updating and reviewing HR policies, procedures and guidelines to enforce organisation
✓+ Reviewing productivity and employee development making recommendations for improvements
✓+ Developing and implementing learning and development policy
✓+ Devising, overseeing, and providing advice on recruitment and selection strategies
✓+ Supporting the recruitment process where needed
✓+ Continuously monitoring and reviewing HR policies and implementing changes
✓+ Leading on special projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce
✓+ Providing company-wide information by interpreting people data and analysing figures
✓+ Translating key data into an effective and commercially focused HR and people strategy
✓+ Controlling the HR budget and reporting on current and future staffing costs and initiatives
✓About you:
✓+ Ideally hold a CIPD qualification [minimum level 5] or relevant degree [or equivalent]
✓+ Able to demonstrate success in similar roles ideally within a FMCG/manufacturing environment
✓+ Experience of working with family-owned businesses, and understanding the dynamics and decision-making differences between private and corporate enterprises
✓+ Fully conversant and up-to-date with all aspects of employment law and HR best practice
✓+ Must have your own car to travel to other offices across Manchester as needed
