Management Accountant

✓This role would suit someone who is ambitious, driven, with excellent communication and relationship building skills; specifically it would be highly beneficial if the individual had experience of preparing the management accounts within a multi-site organisation.

✓The Role
✓Accurate and efficient preparation of month management accounts for multiple sites across the business
✓Business partnering with key stakeholders across the sites to ensure timely and accurate accounts and reports are produced to help and support business decisions
✓Report variance analysis to each of the sites and SMT
✓Monthly Teams / Zoom review meetings with individual unit managers to discuss the accounts and draw attention to certain trends and anomalies
✓Balance sheet monthly reconciliations including inter-company reconciliations
✓Monthly journals, preparing and inputting
✓Cashflow forecasts
✓Salaries analysis as well as ad hoc analysis to support SMT with strategic business decisions
✓The Ideal Candidate
✓Work history within a management accountant role or similar position with notable experience with preparing monthly accounts to strict deadline
✓It would be highly desirable if the monthly accounts preparation had been done for a variety of sites / units / cost centres
✓Part or qualified AAT/CIMA/ACCA/ACA also QBE candidates will be considered
✓Confident user of Microsoft excel skills – exporting data, using pivot tables and filters to interrogate data
✓Specific Sage 200 experience [desirable]
