National Account Manager

DescriptionWe are recruiting for National Account Manager to join our client for permanent work.
Our client is one of the leading companies processing free range and organic poultry to high welfare standards, supplying premium tier products to multiple UK retailers.
Due to continued expansion of their business, we have an exciting opportunity to recruit a National Account Manager to join their team based at our client’s head office and factory near Shropham, Norfolk.
This is an exciting position working with multiple functions both internally and externally: commercial, supply chain, distribution, planning, technical, product development, agriculture, accounts and marketing.
Responsibilities:
* Interface with customers covering all aspects of the commercial requirements, ensuring prompt relevant communication and developing strong working relationships.
* Identifying sales opportunities with existing and new customers.
* Reporting of sales and marketing information, presentations and other related administration requirements.
* Manage the supply chain from order forecast to delivery.
* Product development of existing and new products including packaging.
Experience & Skills:
* Excellent communication skills.
* Motivated and tenacious.
* Attention to detail.
* High level of numeracy.
* Strong personality.
* Passionate.
* Computer skills including Excel.
* Educated to at least A-level or equivalent.
* Experience of managing food retailer customer accounts and food manufacturing preferred.
Monday to Friday, 08.00 – 17.00
28 days holiday per year [inclusive of bank holiday days], increasing by one day for each year of service up to a maximum of 33 days.
Own transport essential due to location.
