Office Manager
Description✓Opportunity is around the corner at Pertemps in Lincoln! We have a brand-new 12 Month Fixed – Term position available for an experienced Office Manager to lead our client’s team on the outskirts of Lincoln
✓Our client is an industry leading pet food manufacturer who are committed to provide the best possible service to their customers and staying ahead of the curve with cutting edge technology, facilities, and practices
✓As an Office Manager you will be required to lead and manage the Business Administration Team
✓Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing of sales to customers using a combination of non-EDI and EDI methods
✓In addition to support the credit control team and the broader business operations
✓
✓What will you be doing?
✓Credit control – taking and allocating customer payments and chasing overdue invoices, liaising on the latter with the Commercial Department.
✓Managing the Team so that customer queries and complaints are handled and dealt with, together with correspondence to the business.
✓Overseeing the switchboard function of the business so that enquiries are fielded effectively.
✓Supervising and monitoring the work of the Team in general and ensuring that daily objectives are met.
✓Managing employee holidays and attendance etc
✓and providing cover during absence/annual leave.
✓Developing, reviewing, and improving administrative systems, policies, and procedures.
✓Approving invoices for payment and managing office budgets.
✓Planning and organising company events and lunches for meetings/customer visits.
✓Preparing and reviewing reports as required.
✓Ordering and maintaining stock of PPE for visitors.
✓Ensuring the office is stocked with necessary supplies/furniture and that all equipment is working and properly maintained.
✓Providing support to the Financial Controller and Commercial Director.
✓Overseeing the Team so that transport is arranged via hauliers.
✓Liaising with Operations / Warehouse to advise them of stock discrepancies which prevent timely and accurate invoicing

✓Excellent communication skills.
✓Able to maintain effective working relationships within the team and with other staff and external parties
✓Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
✓Ability to prioritise
✓The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
✓Strong leadership skills
✓Length of contract – 12 Months [Fixed]
✓Salary: Circa £35,000 p/a
