Safety Net is a charity that provides support and counselling to anyone effected by rape,exploitation, sexual and domestic abuse across Cumbria

We are looking for someone who has enthusiasm, initiative and compassion who enjoys working in a busy environment
Someone who has management skills and experience, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can manage a vibrant team and oversee organisational effectiveness whilst continuing to keep trauma informed therapy and support at the core of what we do.
This is an office-based critical post that will be the backbone of our organisation, underpinning and ensuring the smooth and professional day-to-day running of the office and its functions.
Whi is educated to at least degree level in Business Administration or other similar relevant qualification, or at least 4 years experience in an equivalent role.
Having previous experience in providing administrative support/office management, they will be well organised and able to organise others effectively but tactfully
They will have a warm personality and be energetic, flexible and accommodating in their approach, but firm and consistent when necessary.
Their key responsibilities will be for office, data and data protection management.
They will be the lead for health & safety, coordination of training and providing financial support to the heads of service and finance team.
We are looking for someone who has experience and skills in a variety of office software and spreadsheets.
They should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and outreach buildings, lead the improvement and innovation of company procedures and day to day operation.
We offer:
Hours: 21 hours per week over 3 [depending on experience and responsibility]
Salary : £24,577- £32,146 Pro rata [dependant on skills and experience]
Holiday: A generous 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays [pro rata], 3 to be taken at Christmas when the office is closed for two weeks.
Pension: We offer an enhanced 4% employer contribution pension, following successful completion of the probationary period.
Staff Well-being: We offer an employee assistance package, clinical supervision, and case management.
Base: This is an office-based critical post that will be the backbone of our organisation, with some ability to work from home, depending on service need
If required, the candidate may need to travel across Cumbria and work remotely from approved outreach buildings.
Induction: There will be a full induction on processes, systems, role specific training, and trauma and domestic and sexual abuse training.
Training: We are a committed learning and development charity providing extensive CPD and career progression.
Safety Net is open to experience outside of the charity sector, transferable skills and learning in post, and we will welcome applications from candidates who may not meet the criteria exactly.
