Project Manager
Description✓Frontline Recruitment Weymouth have an exciting opportunity for our client for a Project Manager to join the Equipment, Systems and Support business group and be part of a team delivering challenging engineering projects to our customer base and stakeholders.
✓Centred around Deployable Infrastructure, our bespoke engineering solutions offer our customers high quality solutions to meet their exacting requirements.
✓As a Project Manager the successful candidate can expect to be responsible for delivering engineered solutions, from concept to equipment delivery, through to the in-service support phase to end of life.
✓This role will head up a multi-disciplined Project Team consisting of Project Engineers, Design Engineers and Integration Engineers, focused on delivering top quality solutions that exceed our customer’s expectations.
✓Main Duties:
✓• Project Management of specific Equipment, Systems and Support projects, ensuring Contractual Deliverable Requirements are met.
✓• Overall responsibility for the delivery of multi-faceted, large-scale projects and the performance of multi-disciplined Project Teams involved in the delivery of the project
✓Teams consisting of Project Managers, Project Engineers, Design Engineers and Technicians.
✓• Management of resources and programmes to ensure projects are delivered on Time, to Cost and Key Performance Indicators are met.
✓• Overall Safety, Quality & Technical responsibilities for all project related activities.
✓• Delegated Financial responsibility for projects.
✓• Initiation and maintenance of effective business relationships with project stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved at all times.
✓• Provision of technical and budgetary reports as required by the business and Customer
✓• Provide Business Development support for new project bids as required
✓Qualifications
✓• Recognised Engineering Qualification, at a minimum standard of C&G level
✓• Recognised Project Management qualification, preferably Association of Project Management or equivalent.
✓• IT literate with demonstrable ability in the use of the MS suite of applications, including MS Project
✓Skills / Experience Required:
✓• Proven track record in a Project Management role, with programme management experience desirable.
✓• Systems Engineering background / experience.
✓• Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
✓Comfortable and confident engaging with customers.
✓• Experience of working within the defence industry desirable.
✓• Excellent record keeping skills and attention to detail.
✓• Planning and Programme Management.
✓• Reliable, presentable with good timekeeping.
