✓Responsibilities for a Registered Care Home Manager role
✓Currently they wish to recruit an experienced Registered Care Home Manager.
✓The role is to manage and take responsibility for the coordination of the day to day running of the service, including taking full professional accountability in respect of the clinical management of the home.
✓You will ensure all aspects of the management of the home meet with the CQC fundamental standards.
✓Also to oversee and maintain the care of the residents living at the Care Home, ensuring each resident receives care according to their individual needs, and to actively participate in meeting the personal, spiritual, emotional, physical and mental health needs of the residents, in such a way as to respect their dignity and promote independence.
✓You will also ensure full implementation of current legislation and quality control/assurance requirements in all aspects, are adhered to.
✓Requirements of the Registered Care Home Manager role
✓NVQ / RMA / Diploma minimum Level 5
✓Previous or current general management experience within a Nursing and/or Residential Care Home
✓Preferably 3 years experience in a Residential Care Home setting
✓Dementia and End of Life Care knowledge is very useful
✓Sound knowledge of CQC standards
✓Awareness of the principle of person centred care
✓Proven ability to lead, supervise and manage a team of staff
✓You must have excellent communication skills in order to liaise with residents, families, GP’s and stakeholders
