✓Location - Luton, Bedfordshire
✓Hours - 40hours per week
✓Salary - £37,500 - £40,000 per year

✓Your purpose is to hold responsibility and provide leadership and management of the children's home, overseeing and ensuring high quality care to young people as part of our integrated service.
✓You’ll be accountable for delivering high-quality care to children and young people within the home
✓This means that you are responsible for the delivery of all care services, as well as the strategic planning for development within the home and all day to day management matter.
✓Your duties would consist of:
✓* Demonstrating the ability to build on the well-established principles and practice standards existing within the Organisation and proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of childcare standards across the company.
✓* Demonstrating practical leadership in childcare, as well as organise and support staff to provide the best possible care for each child and young person
✓This involves being personally available, as well as the supervision and mentoring of staff, organisation of work patterns, and facilitation of care focussed training and accessing of appropriate services to support the childcare practices within the home.
✓Essential
✓* At least 2 year in a role supervising and managing staff
✓* Diploma of Higher Education in Children and young people’s workforce [CYP]Level 3 or Level 3 Residential Childcare or Equivalent Early Childhood Degree or Children and Workforce Degree
✓* A “Good” or “Outstanding” grade within your recent Ofsted Inspections
✓* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare [England]/ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services [or you are willing to work towards this]
