✓Remote based: covering Midlands plus north Wales and northern part of East Anglia

✓An exciting new Area Sales Manager role has arisen within our client's business
✓We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to drive sales growth in the Midlands, North Wales and northern part of East Anglia
✓With over 30 years of experience in the industry, our client supplies a wide network of national builders merchants, roofing product suppliers, contractors, and garden room companies.

✓So, what could a normal day consist of?
✓* Maintain a healthy relationship with key stakeholders in the Midlands, North Wales and northern part of East Anglia territory, including merchants, contractors, distributors, and other end users/influencers
✓* Record and update all activity on the internal CRM system
✓* Communicate all developments and opportunities to management
✓* Create a 12-week rolling business plan to maximise revenue
✓* Comply with company policies and procedures
✓* Report competitor activity and work on enhancing our market perception
✓* Contribute to updates on company websites to provide the best customer experience
✓* Seek out opportunities for Trade Mornings/Trade Days and attend relevant events
✓* Coordinate installer training events, when necessary
✓* Attend exhibitions as required

✓They should possess a strong understanding of customer/market dynamics and requirements, particularly within the roofing products, building materials, paint, DIY consumer products, or industrial sales sectors
✓Willingness to travel within the defined territory and work from a home office is essential
✓Good understanding of modern IT business tools and a high level of self-motivation and discipline are also important for success in this role.
